What the petition asks
Healthcare workers are SKILLED individuals who risk their own health and safety to ensure this of others, and this needs to be recognised! They deserve better.
Recognise their capabilities with a pay rise! They are still working to earn their wage!

We are in a pandemic and the workers relied upon to keep your loved ones safe, are those in Healthcare. All persons work to protect and safeguard all other persons vulnerable. This includes saving lives! Without healthcare staff, people would suffer. Healthcare workers do not just work during a crisis, they work 365 days a year, day and night! They have so much knowledge and work together, to ensure the needs, wants and preferences of all individuals are met, regardless of their diagnosis.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
The Government is not responsible for setting the salary of most key workers, or setting minimum wages for particular sectors, but you may wish to sign petitions calling for the following actions:
