Hazard pay for teachers and educational support staff during Covid 19.

Rejected 13 signatures

What the petition asks

Either be more vigilant regarding who can attend schools given the current medical climate or provide staff hazard pay. For example, not all students should be allowed to attend a PRU without officially being ‘vulnerable’. It should be enforceable that attendance is purely a last resort measure.
It is hazardous for education staff and their families, and the risk should be recognised by both Government and the wider country.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

You may wish to sign this petition calling for the same action: Make hazard pay mandatory for key workers in the midst of COVID 19.
