Close all unnecessary construction sites to slow down the spread of Coronavirus
Rejected
21 signatures
What the petition asks
Force all but absolutely essential construction sites to shut down for an appropriate time (minimum 3 weeks) to slow down spread of the Coronavirus. Essential building work, like hospitals, most important infrastructure, can continue if granted individual permit.
To make construction industry comply with HM Government's rules requiring all but key workers to stay at home during the Covid19 pandemic.
Construction sites means large crowds in the canteens, changing rooms, site washrooms, and use of public transport. These are likely to lead to further spread of the coronavirus and unnecessary casualties in near future.
