What the petition asks
Please help to organise emergency flights for British nationals in India during this uncertain time. In response to the global outbreak COVID-19 the Indian government is currently in lockdown until March 31st. Flights have been cancelled and suspended. The duration of this lockdown is uncertain.
Please liaise and cooperate with airlines to repatriate British nationals back home. The travel advice we are receiving from gov.uk is urging UK nationals to return home immediately. Please help us to do so. The Indian government isn't allowing anybody to enter the country. But please help to provide a means for us to leave. Not all travellers have reported to be safe during this time, many have been turned away from hotels and guest houses. Please ensure our safety by helping us to return home.
