Protect nannies and childcare workers health.

Rejected 13 signatures

What the petition asks

Nannies should not be requested to work during the Coronavirus outbreak if employers are able to work from home.
Hundreds of live-out nannies are receiving pressure from their employers to go to work although the government has prohibited leaving the house for work unless absolutely necessary. In the majority of cases, nannies are being threatened with loosing their jobs or even forcefully requested to leave their home and family to move in with their employers. Parents are not considering the health risks and mental pressure that these nannies are being put on and we need to government to protect nannies.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. We understand you're concerned about nannies being required to work, but we're not sure whether you want this to be banned or financial support to be made available to help people not able to/being required to work.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
