Lock down the construction industry that isn't essential during COVID
Rejected

What the petition asks
Last night's announcement (23.03) was unclear about the travelling restrictions and what is considered as essential work. The major construction corporations aren't being fair. Top managers are working from home but they are pushing workers to continue to work outside, putting their life at risk.
There are people of all ages working in the construction industry in London; they are being put at risk unnecessarily in this pandemic, by managers and clients that comfortably work from home. There should be exceptions - for instance construction involving hospitals, but the rest should be put on pause, to avoid the virus spreading and killing more people.
