During the Coronavirus epidemic stop all non-NHS construction work in the UK.

What the petition asks
Construction sites are open for 'business as usual', many being enclosed sites, staff working indoors, close together and site accidents requiring hospitalisation are not unknown. Tens of thousands of people work in associated supply and support companies. Stop this inexcusable pressure on the NHS.
There is no good reason for allowing any part of the construction industry to carry on as if there is no world-wide threat to human life from the Coronavirus. The decision to allow non-vital construction work to continue is utterly devoid of the integrity so admirably displayed by the highly experienced, dedicated and utterly desperate NHS staff who have time and again begged for the lock down on free movement for the benefit of everyone. Show that you care about the NHS – Get the Lockdown Done!
