What the petition asks

Test all people arriving in the UK, Including crew and transit passengers.
Requisition suitable hotels, at air and sea ports, to allow for the quarantine of anyone found to be infected.

There's a report today (24/03/2020) of an infection in Guangzhou, China resulting from someone returning from Turkey.
Given the call, by the FCO, for up to 1 million people to return to the UK it's vital to prevent similar things happening here.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
