Provide the necessary PPE for those working in a healthcare environment.

What the petition asks
Countless medical professionals and hospital staff are without adequate PPE, endangering their lives. The Govt must put pressure on Trusts to allow PPE to be worn per NHS and WHO guidelines for ALL staff (including porters etc). The Govt must also provide funding, allowing the Trusts to provide PPE.
Earlier this week a 36 year old nurse was admitted to ITU due to a COVID19 infection. She is otherwise healthy. Nearly 5000 medics in Italy are being treated for COVID19. PPE, including but not limited to N95 masks, nitrile gloves, gowns and eye masks are all helpful in reducing the viral load to which hospital workers are exposed to. A lower viral load gives the immune system a better chance to fight off the virus meaning less of the NHS frontline are at risk of harmful symptoms of COVID19.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
