What the petition asks

Hundreds of thousands of regular works will receive no pay or job security at this time. With access only to universal credits and welfare many of these people will work full-time. Please support pay and similar conditions to secure pay for these workers like the employers retention scheme.

Create a scheme that supports agency temporary workers on zero hours contract. Request last 8 weeks worth of earning as proof of average salary and provide 80% grant for these workers in comparison with permanent staff. During this crisis there will be hundreds of thousands of full and part time workers who are now not covered due to a contractual technicality. Support these workers temporarily during this crisis. This must be fast tracked!!
