Making universities cancel residence associated fees and rents

What the petition asks
Students should not have to pay for university accommodation that they are currently unable to use due to covid-19 therefore residences fees should be waived
rely on SFE which means more debt, and therefore more anxiety in this already difficult time. If students are not living in residences, why should they payand accumulate debt for residences they are no longer using.
