DIY Stores are not essential during lockdown, further prevent Covid-19.

What the petition asks
Boredom is not an excuse to start infecting people in public. DIY is not important at this time. Hardware and DIY stores should be almost all cordoned off, with customers being allowed to ask for specific essential items instead of wandering round looking for that perfect plant or paint.
The risk of going out into public over the lockdown period is much too high, and people dragging their families and kids round DIY and hardware stores are posing an especially high risk. Boredom is never a valid excuse to pose a threat of infection to the public. Stores should be cordoning off the majorities of the inside of their stores and only allowing the purchase of necessary and vital products such as piping and plumbing accessories in the case of an emergency.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
