Enforce all construction sites to close amid the COVID-19 outbreak
Rejected
11 signatures
What the petition asks
Announce a country-wide closure of all construction sites during the outbreak. In particular, Hinkley Point Power Station.
Stop overcrowded buses which will cause the spread. Hinkley Point buses are extremely overcrowded and the workers waiting for these buses are not keeping two metres away from one another.
The close proximity of working conditions makes it impossible to keep a safe distance. This needs to be stopped to reduce the high risk of the spread.
Construction workers are not critical to running the country, not critical to running a nuclear site, therefore, they are not required during this pandemic
