Give parents the right to see their child unless there is a valid reason
Closed

What the petition asks
Both parents should have the right to see their children. The Government should create a legal right for both parents to see their child, unless there is a valid reason such as the parent being a drug-user or sex offender.
Some parents can be unreasonable when it comes to arranging contact with the other parent. If one parent refuses to allow the other parent to see their child they should be subject to penalties, such as a fine and losing their right to child support, unless a valid reason applies.
