Add businesses such as mechanical industries to the essential closures list

Rejected 12 signatures

What the petition asks

Add factories, warehouses and private businesses that build mechanical equipment, in areas such as agriculture and boating for example, to the "essential closures" list. These industries need to know they can claim financial help if needed and protect their workforce from contamination of Covid-19.
The businesses that work in areas such as, agricultural equipment, sailing and other mechanical industries are having to put their workers at risk, due to not being on the essential closures list. This is also due to uncertainty about their entitlement to support, from the government.
Many of these workers are at risk of contracting Covid-19 due to their working environment and often work in confined spaces. For their safety and financial security, please support them and add to the list.
