Create an “NHS Day” public holiday.

Rejected 15 signatures

What the petition asks

I want the Government to give the British Public a public holiday to recognise the hard work, effort and commitment that was shown by our NHS during Covid-19. These people have dedicated their lives to help others during this pandemic.
I want the Government to do this because it should always be remembered. It’s the first time this has happened in our lifetime and it’s important that it is recognised so that we can remember. A lot of countries don’t have an NHS, we are lucky to and therefore we need to celebrate their incredible hard work.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
