What the petition asks

To provide a tax break or partial break to all key workers during the Covid -19 pandemic. All extra hours worked to be tax free. To include all NHS, carers, shop and distribution staff and all key workers who will work even during lockdown. Those people putting their own lives and families at risk.

To recognise that these people are putting their own lives and families at risk. Continuing to contribute, paying their bills, rent, mortgages, travel in full without any financial support or reward, often paid less than the living wage, no extra support from the government or employer. Selflessly looking after others, endangering their own lives compromising their families. Being peniilised for a continuing to work during the pandemic.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
