Increase the pay for Key Workers during the COVID 19 pandemic!

What the petition asks
The Government/Parliament should be increasing the wages (during the Pandemic) to help the Key Workers. Just as they are helping the population by risking their own health and well-being. Along with their mental health.
Key Workers such as Nurses, Doctors, Supermarket staff, School Teachers, Social Workers, Cleaners, Hospital Staff, Telecoms Engineers etc are giving up their skills, time and physical/mental wellbeing to ensure the safety and health of others. Some of these key workers have children to look after, this is on top of ensuring they turn up to work and provide the best service they can (in which they are absolutely going above and beyond!). There have been cases where individuals have had to move out of their family home in order to keep their dependants/partners/family safe while still on their normal wages, increasing their wages will take that little bit of stress away. To allow them to keep focusing on continuing to deliver the phenomenal they have been!
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
The Government is not responsible for setting the salary of most key workers, or setting minimum wages for particular sectors, but you may wish to sign petitions calling for the following actions:
