The Government must change its policy on working with the EU concerning Covid-19

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

In order to mitigate the effects of Covid-19, the Government needs to put aside its differences and work together with the EU as if it were still an active member in order to save lives and curb the spread of a disease which has the capability of taking millions of lives.
That the Government is not working with the EU to limit the effects of Covid-19 is a life-threateningly dangerous dereliction of duty.

Despite the UK Government having decided to leave the EU, the European Union has on several occasions offered it's help which the government continues to reject.

Engaging 'British' companies to produce equipment such as ventilators now, is wasting time and endangering lives of both patients and staff of emergency services.
