Pay key workers a higher level of SSP during the corona virus epidemic!

What the petition asks

Currently the government pay people 80% to sit at home where as people working is health and social care only get SSP if the catch the covid 19 bug whilst working and supporting the nation ! I would ask you to double this for key workers

£94 a week will not help staff including nurses, carers working in adult social care with their bills this meaning that they will then face financial hardship due to their roles where as all other workers will be sat at home getting their 80 with no risks to themselves or their families

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
