Please ensure charities' employees are paid during the COVID19 lockdown period.

What the petition asks
Arrangements are in place for company employees to be paid up to 80% of salary during the COVID19 lockdown; and those for self-employed people are under way. Charities seem to have been overlooked. Please give charity employees who cannot work during this crisis an assurance that they will be paid.
Because without pay, these people cannot survive as money is a prerequisite in the UK for food, shelter, and other necessities,

Since you started this petition, the Government has announced a support package for charities. It has also said that many charities are eligible for other support measures available to businesses., including the job retention scheme.
