Emergency day for the services to be honoured every year for their efforts.

What the petition asks

This day will be dedicated for the emergency services and could be a day off or bank holiday or something like a appreciation day just for the emergency services and to celebrate the efforts during the COVID 19 period on keeping the nation healthy and safe. For the UK and overseas territories.
Because the NHS have worked tirelessly and deserve the appreciation for all their efforts. During the COVID 19 period which is brutal for much of Europe and the rest of the world.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

You may wish to sign this petition calling for the same action: Create a new Bank Holiday in recognition of the NHS and all its amazing workers.
