What the petition asks
I want the government to make the 26th March a National Holiday called “ Clap for carers “
I want this to be a national holiday to remember all the workers and NHS staff that have helped the UK through the Coronavirus period and so they feel appreciated by the Nation
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
You may wish to sign this petition calling for the same action: Create a new Bank Holiday in recognition of the NHS and all its amazing workers.
