Bring forward COVID-19 Self-employment grants to April 2020

What the petition asks

Making self-employed people wait 2-3 months for their grants is too long & could see many of the businesses that form the backbone of the UK economy perish.
During this crisis, we are seeing customers struggle to make ends meet, put food on the table & make their regular financial payments. It's the Government's duty to rescue these companies from such a long period without financial support and even though there is help on the way - for many self-employed people in the UK 8 weeks is a life and death situation for their livelihoods. The self-employed need help now.
