What the petition asks
We need the MPs now to take this seriously. During Covid19 they have praised our NHS & key workers! Now it is time to back this up with a very significant pay rise for all Key Workers!
The key workers of this country have put their own lives on the line and not seen their own families whilst saving others. They have been true heros for this country during Covid19.
Whilst parliament have looked at pay for all others in isolation, nothing has been said about money put aside for our key workers to receive a very well deserved 'significant' pay rise!

Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
The Government is not responsible for setting the salary of most key workers, or setting minimum wages for particular sectors, but you may wish to sign petitions calling for the following actions:
