Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Make it obligatory for all NHS staff and all workers in care assistance, especially those working in frontline areas, to wear adequate masks (P3) to protect both themselves and the public to avoid spread of COVID-19
To avoid the spread of coronavirus, avoid that people not infected yet become infected by going in hospital for other reasons, protect doctors, nurses and their families.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

Advice on the use of personal protective equipment is a matter for Public Health England, not the Government or Parliament.

We have published a petition calling on the Government to provide adequate PPE equipment for medical professionals working with COVID-19, which you might like to sign: Provide adequate PPE equipment for medical professionals working with COVID-19
