Give single parents the right to stay at home due to Covid-19

What the petition asks
At present many staff are required to attend work by their employers, irrespective of their circumstances. The Government should give single parents the right to stay at home, and not attend work, to protect them and their families from Covid-19.
I am a widow who works full time for the NHS, and my children and I have no family here, so enabling me to stay at home would better enable me to look after my children, and reduce the risk of me contracting Covid-19.
