Award NHS and frontline workers for their efforts during the corona outbreak

What the petition asks
A significant financial award for all NHS and frontline workers for endangering their lives and keeping this country running during the corona outbreak. This can be seen as a thank you or compensation similar to those that receive "danger money" in high risk jobs.
This is the very least these workers deserve. We rely on them and they are often the least paid workers: doctors, nurses, healthcare workers, supermarket workers, pharmastist, delivery drivers. All those and many more are still working hard, risking their health and that of their families, to save the majority from total devastation.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
The Government is not responsible for setting the salary of most key workers, or setting minimum wages for particular sectors, but you may wish to sign petitions calling for the following actions:
