Grant an extra bank holiday on Aneurin Bevan’s birthday, To honour the NHS.

Rejected 20 signatures

What the petition asks

Following the Coronavirus pandemic we should honour all health & care workers in the Uk.
On Aneurin Bevin’s, the father of the NHS, birthdate, 15th November, a NHS appreciation bank holiday should be granted to UK citizens so we will never forget what the NHS did for us all in 2020.
Parliament To debate granting the Country an additional Bank Holiday on 15th November as a lasting tribute to NHS and Care workers who protected us throughout the Coronavirus pandemic.
The UK has only 8 bank holidays a year far fewer than any other European Country. There have been many calls by MP’s to increase the Uk allocation. Now is the time to grant one extra day as NHS day, to show we all care for our UK workers. We cared for us in 2020
