What the petition asks
Stop tradesmen having to go to work and give them the same chance as self employed people to get paid 80% of their wage whilst we are in lockdown.
My partner is a plumber and still having to work or he will not get paid by his employer. This involves him going to other peoples houses.

As a nation we are being told we cannot visit family members and should stay home during the Corona Virus Pandemic, yet some tradesmen are having to commute and go to work at strangers homes or they will not get paid. This is due to the government not closing down all construction and domestic sites and this is surly contributing to the spread of Covid - 19.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
