Petition · past parliament

Force employers to include commission for staff on furlough.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Ensure employees get a fair deal from their employers, for example Sales persons on 12k but £3000+ commission are only going to get paid 80% of their basic wage, this is unacceptable and unjust.
It's a matter of social Justice and equality, if self employed persons can get 80% of their declared earnings upto a cap of 2.5k then employees on a commission based or bonus paid structure should be afforded the same right. We are all taking the same responsibility by staying at home so please extend the same rights.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

Consider paying commission and bonus as part or furlough payment
