What the petition asks
Pharmacy teams should be treated as frontline health workers and be tested for COVID-19, to reduce the harm to elderly and vulnerable groups.
Pharmacy teams like doctors come into contact with the public. They provide the public, access to vital medicines both on prescription and over-the-counter.

Also it is vital for business continuity that everyone who tests negative can return to work safe in the knowledge that they cannot spread the illness to others and keep providing vital medicines to the public.
Presently many pharmacy teams are struggling to keep up with the demand because staff are observing the 14 days of self isolation. We need to know if we need to self isolate or continue working and help the country get through the covid-19 outbreak.
