Petition · past parliament

Temporarily close public footpaths and stop the public crossing farmland.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Due to coronavirus we would like public footpaths closed and stop public crossing farmland. There has been a massive increase in people using public footpaths etc.. The amount of different people touching these gates/latches/styles is massive.
This will help stop the spread of coronavirus. The massive amounts of people touching the gates/latches/styles daily is a huge concern for passing the virus on. Alot of farmers/landowners/tenants are high risk themselves but have no choice to be out tending the land and livestock. Its putting those people at risk. As well as every other person that crosses the land.
