What the petition asks

The Government should ask all UK Private Schools to waive the school fee for at least 2 terms
As more people lose their jobs and businesses struggle in the lockdown; the parents who have otherwise reduce pressure on Government-funded education need help. With uncertainty about the economy, the Government should ask all UK Private schools to waive the fee for at least two terms.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

The payment of fees for private schools are a matter for individual schools and fee-payers, not the Government or Parliament.
