Make it compulsory for everyone to wear masks to prevent the spread on COVID-19

What the petition asks
Make it compulsory for everyone to wear masks to stop the spread of the virus. Czech Republic have reduced cases which they attribute to compulsory wearing of masks and gloves. We want parliament to pass an Act to make it compulsory in order to protect lives.
The virus is spreading at a fast rate. Decisive action needs to be taken now. The public are not taking it seriously and still visiting friends and family from different households. The police are not able to monitor this and have been subjected to abuse and being spat at by non-compliant members of the public. This will help them to fine or arrest non-compliant members of the public and provide a barrier to prevent the spread of this deadly virus.
