Petition · past parliament

Introduce a £10 per hour minimum national wage immediately.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

With immediate effect, the national minimum wage should be raised to £10 per hour.
The majority of key workers who are putting themselves in harm's way to keep the country running, are earning a poverty wage. It is now clear that these are essential workers who should be paid accordingly. These people should not be rewarded by having to use a food bank the week after pay day.
