What the petition asks

Make employers support there workers during this time and provide proper PPE (personal protective equipment at this time expample:masks gloves body suit and a shelid to protect there face as they are exposed to corona virus covid 19
I would like the government to put in place a safety for all employees who work as bin men as they have to handle rubbish that they can then be exposed to Corona virus through the bins as they havent got proper safety equipment so there risking there selves as they can get it though this job I would like the government and parliament to think about this as I think it would benefit them as they will be protected while doing there job

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

The Government has published guidance for people who work in or run outdoor working environments, which includes waste management. This includes guidance on the use of PPE: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/working-safely-during-coronavirus-covid-19/construction-and-other-outdoor-work

It is up to individual employers to implement the Government's guidance, not the Governemnt or Parliament.
