What the petition asks
Landlords are continuing to charge students rent.
The majority of students left their accommodations, therefore landlords costs, including utility bills will reduce. Students have financial responsibilities and are financially vulnerable. Landlords should at least partially reimburse students.
The majority of students left their accommodations, therefore landlords costs, including utility bills will reduce. Students have financial responsibilities and are financially vulnerable. Landlords should at least partially reimburse students.
Students have a lot of financial responsibilities, and are already under enough a lot of stress due to unknown effects of this pandemic on their examinations and future. Landlords should not be allowed to exploit students especially as these circumstances make it difficult to get income and the rent payments will take up a large majority of students money which they will need in these difficult circumstances.
