All NHS workers to get a “Campaign Medal” as all British forces do!
Rejected
17 signatures
What the petition asks
I would like the British Government to award all frontline NHS workers and carers a “Campaign medal” just like British Forces receive when on active operations due to their unwavering efforts during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The NHS staff are behind enemy lines serving their country!
There is absolutely no difference in a soldier patrolling an active war zone with the threat of IEDs, sniper fire, firefights etc to a member of staff of the NHS working and fighting against this virus and putting themselves in harms way for the good of the people of this great Country every day with the added risk to their families to worry about also.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
You may wish to sign this petition calling for the same action: Award Covid-19 medals to all emergency services and involved armed forces
