Exempt persons ineligible for coronavirus support from future tax/NI increases

What the petition asks
The Government should exempt people who have fallen through the net of gaining access to the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme from any extra tax or NI increases that are imposed to recoup money spent on this scheme.
My husband chose to change jobs just after the Government cut-off date of Feb 28th. He has paid all his taxes but cannot be furloughed by his new employer, and his previous employer has refused to reemploy him so that he can gain access to the government retention scheme.
I am asking the government that when this is all over and we get back to normal that people like my husband aren't made to pay extra taxes or NI to pay the debt as they did not benefit from this support during the crisis.
