What the petition asks
Key workers to receive FULL PAY if in isolation due to COVID-19 not SSP ( Statuary sick pay ). SAFTEY NET.
Making up some of the least paid blue collar Jobs, most cannot afford sickness that will last 2 weeks + more likely longer. Not only will they risk they're lives some will inevitably end up in large debt / hunger on basic Sick Pay. Give those ready to serve the reassurance and insurance that they can do so.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
