Reintroduce Sunday Closing

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Once the current Coronavirus Pandemic is managed, create legislation prohibiting the opening of businesses excluding those in the catering, hospitality and seasonal industries.
The current lockdown in the UK has had a noted positive impact upon communities, families and the environment.

Communities are engaging and working together, once the pandemic is over it would be saddening to return to "normal". Sunday closing would allow people time, without commercial distractions, to engage with their communities, families and friends. Environmentally it would also allow our environment a much-needed breath of air and impact upon our climate targets
