What the petition asks
To invite Her Majesty to award the highest civil award to the staff and volunteers of The National Health Service in recognition of their service during the current crisis, there being a precedent case for the award of the honour to a group in the case of Malta GC
Because the Government / Parliament on behalf of the Nation have a debt of honour to the staff and volunteers of THe National Health Service.
