Supply staff to be properly and fairly paid
Rejected

What the petition asks
Supply staff need to be furloughed in a way that does not leave them disadvantaged by the current situation. Umbrella companies and agencies need more guidance and we should certainly be paid higher than 80% of minimum wage. Many of us are working in education.
We work for agencies (in many cases) in education to give us the flexibility and them the staff needed due to illness and absences. We have a vital role to play. Many of us are qualified teachers, experienced supply staff and we are left with no money.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. We're not sure whether you'd like the furlough scheme to guarantee at least minimum wage or something else.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
