Increase care staff pay in care homes, supported living & recognise their work

What the petition asks
To increase the pay of care workers and front line staff working in care homes, supported living services etc and recognise their work.
Care workers are not considered skilled workers despite they play a crucial role to support the vulnerable of our society with lots of trainings and knowledge and skills which many don’t have.

Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
The Government is only responsible for the pay of public sector workers. The pay for most carers is a matter for individual employers, and not the Government or Parliament.
