Remove the £2,500 cap on salary reimbursed through Covid-19 job retention scheme

What the petition asks
Remove the cap on claimable wages of £2,500 for furloughed workers, so that the financial impact of being furloughed is the same for everyone who is furloughed.
To ensure that the UK is sharing the financial pressures of covid 19 equally. Make sure the Government doesn't take a heavy hit on reduced NI & Tax contributions from employees & employers. Mortgage/rent payments tend to be in line with their salary, so people with salaries above £30,000 per year may get into more debt which could result in them losing their homes which could further damage our economy in the long run. This should help ensure the economy across the UK can recover as one.
