Save the Novartis pharmaceutical factory in N E Lincolnshire from closure.

Rejected 12 signatures

What the petition asks

The Novartis factory is due to close just when we ned vaccines and testing kits to fight the Corona virus.
The UK government should take over this factory to keep UK pharmaceutical production.
If we don't have our own pharmaceutical production we will be too reliant on overseas manufacturing just when other countries have maximum demand.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Since you started your petition Novartis has announced that this factory will remain open.

If you want the Government to requisition or nationalise pharmaceutical production centres, you could start a new petition calling for this.
