Annual Remembrance Day to honour sacrifice of health workers with blue flowers.
Rejected
12 signatures
What the petition asks
Health and care workers who lose their lives whilst saving others should be honoured in the annual Remembrance Day events with emblems and wreathes resembling those made with the familiar red poppy, but in NHS blue and white.
The annual Remembrance Day commemorates those who have lost their lives in the service of the country during hostilities. Sadly, many health and care workers also lose their lives serving others - not just during the current Covid-19 pandemic - and they deserve national recognition for their sacrifice.
