Petition to rearrange all Graduations and Grad balls in UK instead of cancelling
Rejected
10 signatures
What the petition asks
Enforce Universities to rearrange Graduations and Grad balls in the UK. It is not fair under any of the circumstances that universities fully cancel all graduations. Students work exceptionally hard to graduate and that should be celebrated.
I am asking for the government to have a say and reinforce the idea to universities because you have a bit influence on the population. And although Universities are private from you I think you can promote and influence the idea to rearrange all graduations. This is as opposed to cancelling them.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. This would be a decision for individual institutions, not the UK Government or Parliament.
