Delay the next school term by 2 months, so children get actual class time.

Rejected 13 signatures

What the petition asks

It's pretty obvious, by the time we're through this pandemic, it's going to be around July, just before the children are due to be off school for 5-7 weeks on summer holidays!
Rather than asking stressed parents to try and home school children for the next 3 months (albeit with virtual lessons), simply delay the start of the next term by 2 months.

That way at least the children would get some physical classroom time once they can return and us parents get a chance to rebuild our lives, employment, businesses etc. with the children back at school.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

Open schools during the summer holidays
